What is WSID?

WSID (short for What Should I Do?) is a new social media platform that blends community-powered Q&A with fast, easy-to-use polls. WSID helps you make better decisions – big or small – by tapping into the collective opinions, experiences, and insights of real people. It empowers you to gather opinions on anything from random thoughts to life-changing events. You can also share your own experiences and insights to help others.

How is WSID Different?

Traditional social media is great for sharing updates, watching videos, and mindless scrolling, but it’s not built to help you decide. On WSID, you don’t need a massive following to get responses. You just need a question. Whether you’re choosing what to wear, which business logo to use, or how to handle a tricky life situation, WSID gives you real-time feedback from a community willing to give their two cents.

How WSID Works

WSID is simple, intuitive, and built for anyone to use:

• Ask a Question. It can be open-ended or a poll with 2-4 answer choices.

• Add a Description. Provide context to get more relevant feedback.

• Attach Images. Visuals help your question stand out and add clarity.

• Vote + Comment. Browse questions from other users, vote on them, and share your opinion.

Once you post, the WSID community chimes in – voting, commenting, and offering insights in real time. The results are clear, crowdsourced, and bias-free. We’ll talk more about the features in weeks to come.

Purpose of the WSID Blog

Do people still read blogs? Are blogs still relevant? We’re not sure, but the WSID blog seems like a good place to provide updates, tips on how to navigate WSID, feature trending questions, share practical insights on navigating life’s challenges, etc.

We’re just getting started. We are committed to continuously refining WSID while ensuring the platform remains simple and user-friendly. As we move forward, the WSID community will have the opportunity to vote on feature rollouts.  Together, we are building a platform shaped by your feedback and participation.
